Landing at St Barts - Video

Post by sanins192 » 27 Dec 2009, 20:13

I was just looking through Airliners.net and came across some pics of GA aircraft landing at St Barts. Realising I've owned the FlyTampa scenery for ages now and never got round to flying this approach, I decided to make a quick video of it:

Nice video and landing. My only comment would be to show the landing several times from different cameras instead of breaking one landing up into so many viewpoints. It makes it seem disjointed that way. Just my opinion... :)

I totally know what you mean. I was considering doing that, but I plan on re-doing the video and perhaps including other approaches. If you notice the ailerons or wheels don't move, as I had not set FSRecorder to record them, so I plan on doing a better job next time.

Alex did you use Fraps DEMO? If yes, how did you cut the fraps.com mark away?

You can use a freeware program called Virtual Dub to crop videos. I cropped the Fraps watermark and also the timer that FSRecorder puts at the bottom, which is actually very good for piecing together several videos.

I didn't think you could do that in Windows Movie Maker?
