FSX pointer malfunction

Post by RatherBFlyin » 12 Feb 2010, 19:40

For those of you using FSX, has anyone else had the pointer change from the standard arrow/hand to a large Plus sign (+) and not allow you to click any controls? This happened to me shortly after takeoff this morning, and I had to shut down FSX and restart it. Everything's working fine now. However, I could not click any controls on any of the aircraft's panels. Only the FSX menus and FSInn windows worked. It was really quite odd.

Not sure what happened to cause it, but if anyone else has had it happen to them and knows how to fix it, I would love to hear it.

Tim.

I think it is the MOUSE YOKE funtion you are talking about.

If you press Ctrl+Y it changes the mouse pointer to a big +. If you press Ctrl+Y again it changes back to the normal mouise pointer.
If you do that you can fly the plane with the mouse a your yoke.

Cheers,
Pierre
Keep flyin', be free :P

Thanks, Pierre. That may have been what it was. I may need to change that key command so I don't accidentally hit it again.
