SkyEurope Airlines is trying to set a world record and create some love at the same time by encouraging couples to kiss each other on board their aircraft today, Valentine's Day. Each passenger that does receives a 'world record participant certificate' plus a free ticket. Each kiss on board each flight will be counted and totaled for "all the flights on which the safety procedures and sector length will allow this."
SkyEurope claims that "nobody has ever offered a free ticket to passengers in the air just for a kiss," although one U.S. airline has had a deal in the past where fares were virtually free by virtue of kissing one of the flight attendants. Somehow, I think that deal was probably a little more popular...

Update: over 2,200 kisses were recorded, according to Airline Business. Also, it seems that Ryanair was a copycat, doing a similar publicity stunt.
