Re: ATC Callsign
Download Editvoicepack:
http://www.editvoicepack.com/
Contains virtually every callsign ever made, allows for speed up of ATC, and you can create your own as well.

Re: ATC Callsign
Yep, without the edit voicepack addon, the only callsigns that ATC will use are the default once. Otherwise it will just use the flight number. Speaking of which, I need to see if they have updated the FSX version and fixed the bugs...

Don't you fly online only?RatherBFlyin wrote:Yep, without the edit voicepack addon, the only callsigns that ATC will use are the default once. Otherwise it will just use the flight number. Speaking of which, I need to see if they have updated the FSX version and fixed the bugs...

Re: ATC Callsign
I do fly online only, but since FSX still lets you use the AI ATC when flying online, I use that when there isn't a real controller available. It works fairly well, except that I need to ignore the heading instructions if I am approaching an airport along a STAR. It would be nice if I could get it to assign metric altitudes in China, though. Ah, well. Probably too much to ask for.

Re: ATC Callsign
It's because FS only recognizes the 'official' spelling of the British Airways callsign and I never remember which one it is!accguate wrote:hi guys......I have a little problem with my BA models......for some reason the atc dosent says the callsign it only says the flight number........and I already fix the .CFG file but its the same.....I someone knows how to fix these I`ll apeciate your help........thx in advance for your help.....
Either Speedbird or Speed Bird works. (I think it's Speed Bird but not entirely sure, it's been a while since I flew BA)

Re: ATC Callsign
The best way if you're unsure, is to open Edit Voicepack and find the British Airways callsign file.Northwestdc9 wrote:It's because FS only recognises the 'official' spelling of the British Airways callsign and I never remember which one it is!

It should be under Standard Modifications > Callsigns > Registration Country > Europe > United Kingdom > SPEEDBIRD.
What you need to have in the CFG is whatever is in the Identifier field. In this case, it's SPEEDBIRD.
That way, FS links the CFG to that voice-mod file.
