NW Flights From The Delta System Timetable Dated Sept 1

I am now flying various airlines, so much mor to choose from, and when flying NW flights utilizing te DL system timetable I noticed all NW mainline flights are in the 3000 flight range. Will these be accepted when filing a PIREP

No, because that is the codeshare flight number. You must fly and file using the Northwest flight number for a Northwest-marketed flight.*

For this reason, we always suggest using our recommended procedure--follow the directions on the Flights page, which in this case call for the SkyTeam Timetable.

*'Marketed' here does not refer to codesharing practices, but instead to differentiate between operating carriers. For example, NW799 (JFK-NRT) has Northwest as the marketing carrier because it is a pre-merger Northwest route, but the flight is operated by Delta. It doesn't matter that Delta also codeshares on its own route (DL3799). In this case, you would fly as NW799.

Thanks Aaron, I was not sure if DL was utilizing special flight numbers for NW flights yet, blending them into the DL routes

Aaron, I have filed some pireps for NW will probably have to be denied, I will get them fixed
