PSS 757 buffer overrun problem

Post by DMM200 »

Hey everyone. Every single time I try to import FS flight plans into the FMC in the PSS 757, I get this error message, and then the sim crashes:

Any idea what I can do here? Thanks!

I'm not sure, obviously something is wrong with the C++ programming. Does it still do this when you manually enter your flight plan.

There is a subject in regards to this matter posted on Avsim forum PSS. Seems the FMC doesn't like MS's long file names. Might check it out.

flight plans saved on my PC and they were all saved with full airport names (MSFS does this by default I suspect). I deleted them all, created a new flight plan which I saved with a nice short name and now I don't get the CTD. Thanks for the help!
