Embraer 190 problems KLM
Hello,
I want to fly the flight KL1365 from ams to waw. The Embraer 190 is operating that flight, but i cannot download the 190 on the fleet page of klm. only panel and sound. Why can I download it, or can i use an other aircraft?
Greetings,
Maverick10

Unfortunately, there is no freeware KLM E190 available therefore you can't fly this flight unless you find an aircraft to fly it with.

Re: Embraer 190 problems KLM
One option is to find a good E190 model and use that, even if it isn't the correct airline. Obviously we prefer that you use the correct aircraft/airline combination, but when it isn't possible, using the correct aircraft from a different airline is alright (I have done this myself on a few rare occasions).
Did you check AVSIM? I was able to find a couple KLM E190 models there for both FS9 and FSX. I haven't downloaded them though, so I'm not sure how good they are.

Are the two you mentioned also compatible for fs2004?

KLM flies the 737 on AMS-WAW twice daily. I would suggest this instead, or maybe you particularly wanted the ER9?

Re: Embraer 190 problems KLM
The aforementioned aircraft don't even come close to our standards.
I have reviewed the PAD EMB-190 and it's only positive factor is that it looks roughly like the E90, other than that there aren't many good things I can say about it. Not to mention that the repaint reminds me of FS98.
Personally I've been using the payware Feelthere/Wilco E-Jet package which is pretty great.
If you plan on doing much Embraer flying, I'd highly recommend it.

I don't think he wrote a review, just that he reviewed the aircraft (i.e. tested).maverick10 wrote:Can you sent me the link to your review?

I suggest you get it and review it yourself. I too have the Wilco Ejet series. I downloaded the PAD E-190 tonight and tried it for myself. Thought it was quite good " for freeware". and much better than the KLM E-190 in the current hanger. Found it to be in my opinion every bit as good as Posky's. Aircraft, as with panels, the likes and dislikes are very much up to the individual. Certainly believe it doesn't deserved that kind of a negative "review", opinion or what it may be.. Is Wilco 25.00 better? No.

Re: Embraer 190 problems KLM
Good for you Mav. Correction Wilco E-jets are now 50.00 difference. HE double L no! The PAD not perfect. Could perhaps use a little better front panel, at least it has one included.. That would be easy and up to the individual. Gauges are decent. Seems flight dynamics were good. Some throttle surging and that can be expected in a model not intended for autothrottle and that can be tweaked. Took it to FL350 and back to KSEA. Setup the ILS and all seemed to work well and with no big surprises. My opinion is its at the top for freeware. True Mav it does have a VC. Not as fancy as textures of payware! But unique in freeware! Think I'll throw my ISG1 gauge suite in it and use it on occasion.
Re: Embraer 190 problems KLM
He's after an E190, which the KLM Virtual fleet page lacks. That is the only freeware option available, at the end of the day.Northwestdc9 wrote:The aforementioned aircraft don't even come close to our standards.

Oh boy, freeware can be a lot better than this...Randy wrote:Thought it was quite good " for freeware".
I try to steer clear of Premier Aircraft Design, especially on the painting side of things.
