nVidia or ATI?

Post by cpt nick »

Hi, The time has come for me to get a new grpahics card, compared to some on the market my 8500GT is a bag of crap, but ive seen some nice nVidia cards and some nice ATI cards
one been this: http://www.dabs.com/products/asus-ati-r ... s=50520000
which has a high clock and good memory whereas this is £54 ive seen the same specs from nVidia for £70-£100.
however theres a nice nVidia one at £74
http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/ ... ionSection

what would you say is the best or reccomend? anything under £100.

thanks :)

I don't know about the specific cards but I've ALWAYS favored ATi because of their software and drivers.
Compared with the nVidia "control panel" the Catalyst Control Center has always been easier to use, more reliable and I've had FAR fewer problems with their software when put next to nVidia's.
