How do I get a banner to show up?
The title says it all, am I supposed to paste a url to my banner? Can I have a banner without this? I've already made a banner but I can't figure out how to put it in my signature
I also have another question, is Aaron the only person who approves PIREPS? I filed my first PIREP about 2 weeks ago and since then have flown 6 flights and not one has been approved yet...I know Aaron has been busy but I'm getting kinda impatient
Thanks for your help

To make your banner show, you would edit your signature in your control panel (Click the User Control Panel link at the top right of the page, then select Profile > Edit Signature). You need to put in the phpBB code to display an image that is saved on another internet server. Here's how mine looks when I am editing my signature:
It is very similar to HTML code, if you are familiar with that at all.
As to your second question, yes. Aaron is the only person that checks and approves PIREP's, for a number of reasons. Ordinarily it only takes a day or two to get PIREP's approved, but Aaron has been extremely busy over the past few months and there is currently a little bit of a backlog (I am waiting for a PIREP from May 25th to be approved still). Patience is kindly asked for.
Your PIREP's will be approved, have no fear.

I am providing updates regularly in Viewpoint. Yesterday I cleared 10% of the PIREP backlog, but it does take time. Unfortunately, I am scheduled for additional longhaul trips right now.

I agree
Aaron, have you ever considered letting another administrator help share the load of all the PIREPS you have to approve? As someone said earlier though there are reasons why you're the only one approving PIREPS...I'll just be patient as I know your extremely busy and already overworked. Thanks guys for your help

Caleb,
Yes, it's been considered before. This was an issue earlier in the year as well, so let me direct you to the following on the subject: http://www.simairline.net/viewpoint/ind ... roval.html
