Dpes anyone else do this procedure when flying? I am lucky enough to have access to updated aircraft manuals, and I utilize them when planning my flight, by utilizing the performance section and the charts.

Does anyone else do this?

Only with certain aircraft. I usually use them when I am using a more realistic simulation, such as the Wilco Airbus or PMDG 737/747.

I utilize them with my EMB145/CRJ200 and B737 series and the Triple 7

Only with payware, but I use the payware manuals included in the purchase.

Exactly.. definitely using the PMDG MD-11 charts and tables.
