Please note Casey that you'll have to change some of the settings for those water textures to work properly. I think all you have to do is push the water textures bar to the max, as this 'improved' fs9.cfg lowers them. Personally, I didn't find it did much, so I stuck my old fs9.cfg back on.

Never bothered my water textures, but altering the CFG and all never seemed to help or change anything, I must just not be doing it right.

I think there is another topic somewhere on these boards that has the alterations quoted. Try searching for it.

It had something to do with adding texture_max_load= to the fs9.cfg, although I can't remember it fully now.

I just upgraded my pc with the following:
Amd 5000+
ASUS M3N78-EMH HDMI
Transcend DDR2 800MHZ Ram and
550W Power Supply

No matter how much ai traffic or how full the airport with ai traffic, my pc is running smooth even when landing and taking of at Frankfurt, New York(JFK) and London Heathrow. Previously when i flew into one of those airports even Johannesburg i had to make my ai traffic 0%
