Logbook Exporting
I had originally been planning to write a tutorial on exporting logbooks, but then realized that the process is different in Excel 2000/2003 vs. 2007. So as an alternative, I am thinking of offering to do it myself for those individuals wishing it. Of course it would depend on how many people would be interested. Would you?

I agree it would be nice.
To avoid compatibility, may .PDF?
Just a suggestion - I have no personal pref.

Re: Logbook Exporting
I would definitely be interested, especially if flights from prior to the current logbook are included. If it is too much trouble and you can't do it individually, I wouldn't mind doing it myself if you can provide instructions (I am assuming that instructions for Excel will also work with Open Office).

Re: Logbook Exporting
Not to add to the repetitiveness of this topic,
but I too am interested in having an export for my logbook.

Re: Logbook Exporting
Thanks everyone. Based on the high level of interest I will prepare a tutorial in the near future rather than offering to do it myself.

Re: Logbook Exporting
I've been thinking about that for some time recently. So, I came up with the idea of having it done through the roster system itself.
I would add a button on the control panel to let you export your logbook. At the moment I'm busy with my A320 recurrent training, so I expect to start looking into how this can be done in an easy way for you by next week. I'll write updates about it here!

Re: Logbook Exporting
I'd be interested...but only if my logbook is still around. I know I'm no longer on the pilot roster since I had been inactive for a very, very long time...If mine is still available in archives or something, that'd be awesome.

Re: Logbook Exporting
Hey Ali,
I took a look at the logbook now, and now I see everyone's data is up
. Didn't realize it has been almost 3 years since I'd logged a flight. Makes me feel really bad now. Anyway, I'll patiently wait like everyone else so I can get this puppy into excel and maybe continue logging flights on my own.

Re: Logbook Exporting
3 years w/o a flight would put me in the mental hospital!
