They said 95% percent of the files were recovered, and some of the files haven't been completely fixed yet, but most of the library works.

Now I have to wait until next summer to create my own AI. There's no way that I'll be able to download EVERY single plane, plus the liveries, plus the flight plans, all in the next two weeks, especially when this week I'll be busy moving.

95% of the files are there, but I don't think all the files are matched up to the correct page yet, which would explain the 'this file is unavailable' messages.

I thought that message only related to the preview image, and that the file was fine. No?

Files:
We are aware that some files remain unavailable (i.e. listed, but when you click to download them, you are informed that the file is not available).

Detail: We are still working on about one-tenth of the Library's database to realign these files (from a period in 2007, I believe) -- we ask for your patience for these files. In addition, we are aware that around 3,000 files may be unrecoverable across the entire Library. Please do not report these files as missing -- we are aware and working on the problem.
Images:
We are aware that a number of pictures display the "Oops! File not found!" image.

Detail: Many of these pictures may sadly be gone, or otherwise unmatchable with their original content. Again, we are looking to see what we can do here.

I'm glad its on line, New desktop has arrived today, tonight will be busy for me, set up all my stuff, Download FSX, SP1 & SP2, then download all sorts from avsim and build up a big fleet. :rolling:Its been difficult flying from a laptop. (Somewhere in there I need to process more Aircraft photos for Airliners.net from my trip to BCN, spend some time with the girlfriend  and change my signature to include my number, anyone have a clone machine I can borrow  )
