With DST transitions ongoing, many of our schedules are constantly changing and incorrect. If you want to be sure that you're flying the appropriate schedule for a flight, please post your proposed flight here, and I'll post back with the appropriate schedule and any warnings for you.

Please post proposed flights with the following information:
1) airline and flight number
2) flight route
3) scheduled times
4) scheduled flight length
5) date (please write out the month)
6) Where your flight information is from

For example,

BA295 LHR-ORD 1135-1500 8:25 9 March
from the oneworld timetable program

This is perfect. As long as your timetable program is updated, the times in it will be fine. It's only the ones on our site that will have problems.

VS74 MCO-MAN 2140-0950 8:10
The time difference between the Eastern U.S. and U.K. is currently four hours, not the usual five, but the arrival time in the U.K. is fixed.

PIREPS Question

I just completed AC 38 from Pu Dong to Vancouver. I departed PuDong at 18:50pm and arrived Vancouver 13:54pm (4 minutes late). By my count it was an 11:49 flight (10:05 GMT to 21:54 GMT) but my PIREP listed it as 10:49. Curious as to if it was my error or the PIREP?

Thoughts?

Since the 9th of this month, Canada has been in Daylight Saving time. That means you should add +1 hour to your arrival time which will also add the extra hour back on.

If you are having trouble with timezones, see this topic and also check out this article in Viewpoint about DST.

Vancouver is currently GMT-7, not GMT-8, due to DST. Please adjust your arrival time one hour forward.

I know this is not connected to the US' weird DST problems, however the Aussie ones...

Anything from the electronic timetable is fine. Just be sure that your flight length in the PIREP is accurate, as your time zones in the simulator many not be correct.
