Shame that Latitude will discontinue, but I feel it is the right choice for you, and it means that work can be centred elsewhere at simairline.net.
Yes, I think this is a more personal way, and I think it is a more open way of management discussing articles and news with pilots, without the pressure of meeting dealines, which was the case with Latitude.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but they can be cropped and rotated accordingly, and the lighting can be modified with the powerful image editing programs present these days.

You guys have no idea how much work went into that banner, we're talking over a week and something like 40 revisions. Probably 20-30 hours of work.
They're all real photos and pulling, editing, removing from the background, etc was a 3 day task. Hours and hours of PS.
