Eaglesoft Citation X

Hello All, I have the Eaglesoft Citation X, that seems a nice set-up. However, there are no instructions with it, only a check list. Does not matter what I do, I can't get the DC system going or even the external power switch to get things moving. I know I am having the so called "finger troubles" a...

Re: PIREP Strictness

I think the PIREPS should be stricter. The way I see it, probably you could file one without actually fly the actual flight. I for one always fly on line either with IVAO or VATSIM and this way the flight can be checked as having been completed. Also, when I submit my flight plans, I always include ...

FMC instructions

G'day All,

I have the iFly 747 downloaded. I find the FMC instructions in the Manual rather basic. Would someone have a better set of instructions of how to program it and use it.
Thanks and regards,

Re: what is going on?

Whoa....Once before I have made an observation of not having my PIREP approved. I have been informed, that PIREPs are usually endorsed within 72 hours. OK, now I know that Aaaron is away on a trip to London, but surely the PIREP approvals are not a One Man Show...If Aaaron is away, surely there is s...

Re: what is going on?

Thank you for your reply. Now I understand, why Aaron is not replying to my e-mail. I have sent him one three days ago. In regards to the PIREP, just have to wait for his return. :D

what is going on?

I have logged a flight on 17/03/09 and it has not been approved as yet. I also have written to two members of the Moderating team asking them to verify my flight. No reply as yet. Looking through the members' listing, I have noticed that a lot of flights are there in ITALICS , that are not approved....

It has happened again....

Well Folks, it has happened again. I received a virus and had to delete/install my XP. Of course in the process, I have lost all my bookmarks. Now, that everything seems to be in order, I want to fly a trip here at SimAirline, but unfortunately I can not find the relevant timetable. I have searched ...

Three films of Virgin Atlantic's 747

Hello All, I received this film from one of my friends in Australia of Virgin Atlantic's preparation, take off and landing of a 747. Very interesting....enjoy. This web site is a three-part video from Virgin Atlantic Airlines, shown in and out of the cockpit, about a 747-400 flight from London's Hea...

Film footage from HMS Ark Royal

Just a little insight. The 'Ark Royal' (BTW, I believe it was a WW II ship converted to a carrier and stayed in service I believe till the 90's) is considerably smaller than even the 'Oriskany' class carriers, by "Nimitz Class" size she was dinky. In the opening shots there's a helicopter taxiing on...

Re: HJG aircraft

Unless of course you down load from HJG (I know, I am an expert there now, thanks to Enno) and use the panel that comes with the 707 there. It is a very good 747 panel, better than the default 747 of the FS9.

Re: HJG aircraft

I am sure the the 707 has an auto pilot. No, I did not have any problems about the programs...she (the a/c) does behave in a normal way.
Thank you all for the help. I did learn now how to d/l HJG software now properly. :)

Re: HJG aircraft

Success ENNO, the secret was in the cfg file, as you said had to change the sequence from XX to 0 and not 00.
Thank you my friend.
Best regards,
Nick

Enno, I have done all that. I have amended the aircraft cfg as per instructions. Added the textures list and also amended the XX to 00, then also tried it with 01...to no luck

Re: HJG aircraft

Hi Enno, I have tried the Boeing 707-120 and the dash 700 with the same results. With the 120 I used the QANTAS colors while with the 700 used the one available the Boeing. Really, I just don't know what could I be doing wrong. I am using Windows Commander to unzip, I have unzipped from the beginnin...

Re: HJG aircraft

Thanks Enno, I guess, we all fall into the trap of only reading the instructions when all else fails. I will have an other go. Thank you.
