Re: DTW Spotting November 22 and Bday Celebration
Chris since you got your PPL, fly into 1D2 park your Cessna and I can drive us to DTW (20 minutes away). I don't think you can fly into DTW with a Cessna. They wont like that. Cramming up the runway with a line of 9's behind you while your floating at 55knts landing speed

Overheating issues
Does anybody know of, or have a freeware download that offers and monitors CPU temps? I have been searching but some are not compatible and am wondering if any of you guys know of any good freeware ones.
I have a Pent. D processor.

Re: Gotta go? Pay up...
Not to mention that if it were him who could call the shots, he'd have every single plane of his without windows. Why doesn't he order 737-800s as freighters and install (or glue) plastic seats. No toilets, no galleys, no magazines, no nothing
No, screw plastic seats. There will be things hanging ...

Re: Gotta go? Pay up...
Well, the part that is most logical is the removal of toilets. From the press release:
“We are flying aircraft on an average flight time of one hour around Europe,” Mr. O’Leary argued, “what the hell do we need three toilets for?”
Kind of makes since right?
Can they do that anyways? Isn't that ...

Nope, in order to export the flight plan into FS, you need to pay.

Generating routes?
I used to use www.fsroute.com but now it looks like the website is down for good (the owner never updated it, and now it cannot be accessed). I also tried www.simroutes.com but when I try to generate a route for FS9, it just wont load the plan in FS9. Are there any other route planning sites out ...

Re: A very bad day at Avsim and a bad day for us all.
So wait...once the new servers get online, will old files be able to be reached or is it a start from scratch process?
Reason why I ask is because some add on features are hosted by Avsim, such as FiftyNorth website with repaints and what not.

Frasher, if you go here: http://www.airplanephotozone.com/merger/ at the top of the page you can select either Pinnacle, Compass, or Mesaba's repaints.

Re: Acer computers
I have an Acer. Power S285 to be exact. I bought mine in 2006. Still working great. Although I got screwed in the fact that it was one of the last machines made by Acer to have AGP slots (I had no idea until I tried to buy a graphics card). The highest card I can use on this (and is in place) is the ...

Re: And I thought Alaska Airlines had short routes...
Is that what they stopped their for? That wasn't the first time, and honestly, it takes less work to truck the shipments (if that's what they were) to YIP (15 min drive from DTW) than to fly them.

Oh, and the flight DID come from Montreal
