Exporting Logbooks
Hi all, With a lot of demand after the closure of SimAirline.net back in April 2010, I'm glad to announce that you can now export your entire logbook (Only starting at the beginning of the Roster System) to Microsoft Excel format. Log into your account and in the control panel instead of the "File f...

Re: Logbook Exporting
The logbook exporting module is ready for upload. However, I'm unable to connect to the server to upload it for some reason.
Aaron? I have sent you an email regarding that.

Re: Logbook Exporting
Guys, I need feedback for that.. I haven't been able to find a way to avoid the error message when Excel opens, but it still works and the logbook is fully exported. I am running short in time as company operations are starting soon, and will be very busy with line training and studying! Shall I put...

Congratz :) :) :) 7.5 is too little...but seems things are different from where I learnt to fly. Thanks! And yeah, it does seem early, but at least I can progress instead of doing endless circuits with my instructor. Can't agree more :D Only took me 3 circuit sessions then went solo :) Enjoy being ...

Re: My First Solo
Congratz :) :) :) Such an awesome feeling eh???? 7.5 is too little...but seems things are different from where I learnt to fly. In South Africa the law says that no student pilot is to go solo before attaining his/her first 10hrs under dual instruction! I went solo at 11.3 and that was a record. In ...

Re: Logbook Exporting
UPDATE!! I managed to download the entire logbook with its current formatting to an excel file. However, when the file is opened in Excel I get an error saying that it's not the same format as specified, however, the file opens normally. Unfortunately, I cannot export images along with the file, so,...

Re: Logbook Exporting
Now that I'm done with my A320 recurrent training and what follows. I've managed to get a chance to look into the issue. An initial thought I got, is to export the current logbook as a text file and then import it from Excel. This, however, removes a lot of formatting, so, I'm looking more into it, ...

Your logbook is there, no question about itBlackhawk wrote:I'd be interested...but only if my logbook is still around. I know I'm no longer on the pilot roster since I had been inactive for a very, very long time...If mine is still available in archives or something, that'd be awesome.

Re: Logbook Exporting
I've been thinking about that for some time recently. So, I came up with the idea of having it done through the roster system itself. I would add a button on the control panel to let you export your logbook. At the moment I'm busy with my A320 recurrent training, so I expect to start looking into ho...
