13 December 2004 - KLM increases service from Amsterdam to Bonaire, Curacao, Lima, Paramaribo, St. Maarten, and Sao Paulo.

27 November 2004 - KLM exel's routes, from Eindhoven to Hamburg, London Heathrow, and Paris de Gaulle, are now available as Discontinued Flights.

6 November 2004 - Air Exel no longer operates as KLM exel, except from Amsterdam to Maastricht.

31 October 2004 - KLM now serves Manila nonstop with five weekly flights from Amsterdam instead of through Hong Kong. KLM also adds two weekly flights between Amsterdam and Atlanta, one weekly flight between Amsterdam and Houston, and one daily flight between Amsterdam and Bucharest. KLM has discontinued service to Douala and Thessaloniki, so these flights are now available through Discontinued Flights.

22 October 2004 - KLM Virtual now uses the SkyTeam Travel Timetable.

15 September 2004 - KLM discontinues service to Miami, but resumes service between Amsterdam and Atlanta with five weekly flights. The Miami route is now in our Discontinued Flights.

13 September 2004 - KLM is now a member of the SkyTeam alliance.

15 June 2004 - KLM begins service to Tblisi with three weekly flights from Amsterdam.

5 June 2004 - KLM Virtual begins service between Amsterdam and Turin with eighteen weekly flights, a discontinued route.

4 June 2004 - KLM Virtual begins service between Amsterdam and Casablanca with five weekly flights, a discontinued route.

1 June 2004 - KLM begins service to Marseille with three daily flights and adds one weekly flight from Amsterdam to Dammam and Doha.

1 June 2004 - KLM Virtual begins service between Amsterdam and Caracas with five weekly flights, a discontinued route.

1 May 2004 - KLM adds one weekly flight between Amsterdam and Caracas.

28 March 2004 - KLM begins service from to Riga with two daily flights and to Kristiansand with one daily flight, both from Amsterdam. KLM resumes service between Amsterdam and Minneapolis/St Paul with one daily flight, and adds two weekly flights between Amsterdam and Houston Bush.
