ADAM JANSEN, 15, is a student in the 10th grade. He intends to obtain his private pilot’s license, followed by IFR and CFI ratings, and a B.S. in aeronautical science from Western Michigan University. After college, Jansen hopes to join the U.S. Air Force and fly C-17s out of Hickam Air Force Base in Hawaii and to eventually fly for a major cargo carrier such as UPS, FedEx, or Kalitta Air. In his spare time he plays football, baseball, and ice hockey.
