MARK JAHNKE, 18, is a senior in high school. Originally from Ketchikan, AK, and later Geneva, he is a nationally ranked figure skater and ice dancer, and hopes to compete internationally and in the 2014 and 2018 Winter Olympics, as well as to attend Harvard University. Jahnke eventually wants to return to his roots flying for Alaska Airlines or Promech Air in southeast Alaska, and then start his own airline. In addition to skating, aviation, and studying, he enjoys writing, beading, and playing the piano.
