ALI ABOU-ZEID, 26, is a holder of a South African Private Pilot Licence and currently undergoing training for his Commercial Pilot Licence and Flight Instructor Rating at Cape Flying Services in George, South Africa. He previously ran his own virtual airline, Bond Airlines, for personal enjoyment. Abou-Zeid has been an Air Traffic Controller for SwissFIR since September 2003. Abou-Zeid looks forward to being an airline pilot for a major European airline. In his free time, he plays tennis, plays drums, and engages in aircraft spotting.
