ALI ABOU-ZEID, 27, is a holder of a Commercial Pilot Licence and rated on Airbus A320 family as co-pilot. He currently flies for a private Egyptian airline called Nile Air. He previously ran his own virtual airline, Bond Airlines, for personal enjoyment. Abou-Zeid has been an Air Traffic Controller for VACC Switzerland since September 2003. Abou-Zeid looks forward to being an airline pilot for a major European airline. In his free time, he plays tennis, plays drums, and engages in aircraft spotting.
