Message from Aaron
1 December 2006
To All Of Our Pilots,
I'm pleased to report that we met all of
our monthly goals in November and will begin construction on Frontier Virtual
once Pan American Virtual opens later this month. Before we add our next
virtual airline, all our monthly goals (as described on the Statistics
page) will need to be met. This includes filling the now-vacant Air Canada
Manager position. More information on our management hiring needs can be
found here.
I'd like to call your attention to our
Annual
Survey. Every December we ask pilots to answer a number of questions
about themselves and about their usage and opinions of SimAirline.net.
I ask that you take a few minutes to fill out the survey so we can improve
your virtual airline experience with us even further.
El Al Codeshare Resumes
El Al Virtual has reopened, so we will
be resuming our codeshare partnership with them. Codeshare flights to/from
Tel Aviv can be flown from Brussels, Geneva, Johannesburg, Newark, and
New York Kennedy on Delta, Sabena, South African, and Swissair. The agreement
will be expanding to include El Al's Tel Aviv-Bangkok route in partnership
with Thai.
Contributions
Goal Nearly Met
At this moment,
SimAirline.net is $1.29 short of our $1000 (U.S.) goal for 2006. If you're
able to help complete this important goal, you can learn more about contributing
here.
Virtual Airline
of the Month - Air Berlin Virtual
December's featured
virtual airline is Air Berlin
Virtual, Germany's second largest airline and Europe's third largest
low-fare carrier. Air Berlin will be expanding further in March following
the integration of dba and its primarily domestic operations. More information
on Air Berlin, including selected screenshots, can be found here.
2007 is just around
the corner, and that means the release of our 2007 Operations Plan, which
will reflect our goals for the coming year of improving the SimAirline.net
experience.
