To All Of Our Pilots,

Copa's debut was outstanding, and I'm very pleased that interest in SimAirline.net among Latin American pilots is growing as a result of our newest virtual airline. We will be adding South African to our operations this month in the form of South African Virtual, our first African virtual airline, as all monthly goals were fulfilled for May.

Hawaiian and Midway Rename
Last month, our Hawaiian and Midway virtual airlines renamed to Hawaiian Virtual and Midway Virtual, bringing those virtual airlines into consistency with all our other virtual airlines save Virgin, which will retain the Virgin International Airways name because of its being our original virtual airline and its established name and reputation.

Management Hiring
Once again we are hiring for two management positions, both Fleet Manager positions. If you are interested, please go here.

SimAirline.net Fully Funded for 2004
We received an additional $110 in donations this month from Michael Jobe and Michael Lewis, bringing our total available funds for 2004 to $225 US. The distribution of these funds will be announced next month when our annual expenses become known.

New Message Boards to Open This Month
We are planning to open a new set of message boards this month that will have more user features and no advertisements. We're looking forward to implementing this improvement, and we hope that you'll take a look and participate when it finally does open.

Aircraft Pages Continue to Expand
This month, we will begin adding old liveries of aircraft for Alaska, Continental, Northwest, Sabena, Swissair, and Virgin. In addition, fleet listings of each active aircraft in each airline's fleet are now online for all virtual airlines except Continental, Delta, and Northwest. These will be added later this month.

Tutorial Event Cancelled
Due to the lack of interest in a VATSIM tutorial, as well as Online Operations Advisor David Velez's being unable to continue as part of management, the planned tutorial event has been cancelled, and all online flying events will be suspended until further notice. David Velez deserves a great deal of credit for his efforts towards making fly-ins a successful part of SimAirline.net.

Internship Help Requested
I am currently looking into summer internships with various U.S. airlines. If you know of any personal contacts that could assist me in obtaining an internship position, please let me know.

Personal Travel
I will be flying through Minneapolis-St. Paul, Chicago O'Hare, and Washington Reagan on June 8. If you are interested in meeting me at any of these airports, please let me know.

As you probably know, I've been unable to provide frequent roster updates over the last few months, but I expect this situation to improve for the summer.
