1 December 2004
To All Of Our Pilots,

Every December, we ask our pilots to participate in our annual survey so we can see how well we are running SimAirline.net and what we can do to improve. I hope that you take the time for this year's survey, as your feedback is very important to us and helps us to provide an even better experience for you. Of course, results will be available once the survey is closed at the end of this month.

Thanks to the hard work of our pilots this month, we were able to complete our monthly goals, and Air Canada Virtual will open later this month. Next on our expansion list is Virtual British Airways. I'm also very pleased that Alitalia has improved in every month of operations, and Korean Air is showing strong growth as well, also, helping to boost nearby ANA's activity. Northwest also had its best month ever.

Downloads Server Update
Unfortunately, further delays did happen in restoring our downloads server, so I adjusted all the links so editing the address was unncessary. Our current estimate is that the downloads server will be restored on December 7.

2005 Operations Plan to be Released in January
The focuses of our 2005 Operations Plan will be largely dependent on the survey results, so the full plan will not be released until January. As you probably know, the expansion airlines have already been decided: Icelandair, AOM French Airlines, LTU International Airways, Varig Brazilian Airlines, Thai Airways International, and Pan American World Airways (1970). A decision has not yet been made on what goals would be needed for British Airways should it not be reached this month, but it would precede any airlines on the 2005 list.

Annual Screenshots Contest to Take Place
Our third contest for Screenshot of the Year will be taking place near the end of this month, with candidates from those that won their respective contests. Please be sure to vote when the contest begins. There will only be one round of voting.

Reminder When Using Downloadable Timetables
If you use a downloadable timetable to fly our flights, please be sure to use the aircraft codes listed on our Flights pages. Certain airlines vary their codes slightly for different aircraft types, so please be sure to familiarize yourself with the codes for that specific airline.

2004 has been an outstanding year for us, and our outlook for the future is excellent. Thank you for your hard work at helping further our organization. I hope that 2005 will be an even better year than this one.
